Community Outreach

The Center for Health Affairs provides resources and facilitation for healthcare community initiatives for Northeast Ohio. These initiatives are part of what we do because community outreach and involvement is a crucial part of what hospitals do.

In 2015, member hospitals provided more than $152 million in charity care to the Northeast Ohio community. In addition to charity care, the hospitals of Northeast Ohio provide hundreds of community outreach and prevention programs at no cost to the community. Programs that focus on increasing awareness, detecting disease at earlier stages, and improving the health of our community.

Overall, the health and well-being of the Northeast Ohio community is vitally important to our member hospitals and to The Center for Health Affairs.
