The Center's Emergency Preparedness Partners

The Center for Health Affairs’ emergency preparedness partners help the Northeast Ohio region prepare for and alleviate natural and man-made disasters. Its emergency preparedness partners include hospitals, public health departments, emergency medical services, emergency management agencies, law enforcement, as well as other local, state and federal groups.

  • Cuyahoga Emergency Communication System
  • Federally Qualified Health Centers
  • Hospice of the Western Reserve
  • Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center
  • Medical Examiner’s Office
  • Northeast Ohio Hospital Workgroup, which is comprised of primary contacts from 27 acute care hospitals, public health departments, federally qualified health centers, emergency management agencies, rehabilitation hospitals, Academy of Medicine and American Red Cross representatives
  • Northeast Ohio Regional Medical Response System Healthcare Coalition
  • Regional American Red Cross
  • Regional County Emergency Management Agencies
  • Regional Public Health Coordinator and Health Departments
  • Regional Public Safety Group Coordinators (EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement, FBI, Coast Guard)
