2018 Trauma Informed Care Conference

2018 Trauma Informed Care ConferenceJoin us and participate in the 2018 Trauma Informed Care Conference: "The Cost of Helping: An Organizational Approach to Building Resiliency in the Helping Professions." This workshop is presented by The Center for Health Affairs, the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and the Ohio Department of Disabilities as part of the Trauma Informed Care (TIC) Initiative. The ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County is the fiscal agent for this event.

This full-day conference will give professionals and caregivers the tools they need to more effectively help individuals based on evidence from a variety of sources including Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration. It will enable agencies to begin developing structured, organizational responses to Vicarious/Secondary Trauma in order to support staff, create a resilient workforce and ultimately increase staff retention.
