Guest Speaker:

Jim Puente, MS, MJ, CAE, Director, Nurse Licensure Compact
National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN)

Please click here to listen to the June 3 GCONL meeting presentation about the nurse licensure compact. Learn more about the program, its requirements and the hiring and recruitment benefits to nursing and healthcare employers. State participation in the compact program eliminates time and costs related to procuring individual state professional licensure and helps nurses enter the patient care delivery system quickly.

Increase your awareness of the efforts by multiple professional nursing organizations who support this program and how you can advocate for change if your state is not part of the compact licensure program.

A brief question and answer period with the GCONL membership follows Mr. Puente’s presentation.
